This Privacy Policy applies to the SurveyTools mobile application developed by EXSports Oy (hereinafter "Service Provider" or "we") and describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. The application is provided strictly as a tool for personal, educational, and recreational use. It is not intended for commercial, safety-critical, or professional applications.
The application does not require account registration. We do not collect names, email addresses, or any personal identifiers through the Application itself.
Support inquiries: If you contact us for support via email (info@exsports.fi), we may retain your name and email address solely for the purpose of responding to your inquiry. This data is stored securely and deleted once the support matter is resolved, unless you request otherwise.

The application offers an optional subscription for advanced features. All payments are processed exclusively by Google Play. The Service Provider does not collect, store, or have access to your payment card details, billing address, or financial information.
Google Play provides us with a subscription token (an anonymised identifier) to verify your subscription status. This token contains no personal information and is used solely to enable premium features.
Subscription management (cancellation, renewal, payment method changes) is handled directly through your Google Play account. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details on how Google processes payment information.
To enable offline functionality for up to 90 days, the application stores encrypted license verification data locally on your device. This data contains:
This data does not contain personal information and is protected using Android's EncryptedSharedPreferences with hardware-backed encryption (where supported by your device). This data is stored exclusively on your device and is never transmitted to third-party servers.

The application does not collect precise or approximate location information from your device. No GPS, Wi-Fi-based, or network-based location data is accessed or stored.
The application does not use Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Machine Learning (ML) technologies to process your personal data, make automated decisions, or provide features.

The Service Provider does not sell personal data to third parties. Data may be shared with the above service providers solely to operate and improve the application, and only to the extent necessary. These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and data protection obligations.
Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics are operated by Google LLC, a company based in the United States. Data processed by these services may be transferred to and stored in the United States or other countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
Google has implemented Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission to ensure adequate protection of personal data transferred outside the EEA, in compliance with GDPR Article 46. The Service Provider may disclose information if required by law, such as:

Upon first launch, the application will ask for your consent before enabling crash reporting and analytics. You may decline without affecting the core functionality of the application. You can change your preference at any time in the app's settings menu.
Continued use of the application after any updates to this Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
SurveyTools is intended for users aged 18 and older. The application is not directed at minors. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has accessed the application, please contact us at info@exsports.fi.
The Service Provider implements physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect your information. Locally stored license data is encrypted using Android Keystore-backed encryption. Access to any collected analytics or crash data is restricted to authorised personnel only. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
You can stop all data collection by uninstalling the application using your device's standard uninstall process or via the Google Play Store. You can also disable crash reporting and analytics at any time in the app's settings without uninstalling.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notifying you within the application.
By using this application, you also agree to the Disclaimer & Terms of Use. The Disclaimer explicitly restricts the use of this software to non-professional, educational, and recreational purposes. The Privacy Policy and Disclaimer together constitute the full agreement between you and EXSports Oy regarding the use of this application. Any use of the application contrary to the restrictions in the Disclaimer is done entirely at your own risk and does not alter the data protection principles outlined herein.
